Creatively Planned Wedding in Bend

A creative wedding in Bend Oregon happens when you combine an unconventional event space, the outdoors and family history.

Meg and Robby were married on a hot summers day in July. Their very creative outdoor ceremony took place at a riverfront park, Millers Landing, in beautiful Bend, Oregon. From there they boarded a nineteenth century Victorian-style red trolley from Bend Trolley and headed to the family-owned Miller Lumber Company for the reception. Both alumni of the University of North Carolina (Chapel Hill), their reception was filled with lots of blue RAM collegiate memorabilia! O’Brien Event Rentals helped us transform the large lumber warehouse into an intimate magical reception space. Giffords Floral provide the wedding flowers and Codys’ Catering served delicious BBQ. Lumber inspiration continued into the wedding cake that was painted with a scene of the Cascade Mountains and included a wedding cake topper that combined the couples home states, North Carolina and Oregon. Surrounding the cake was a delightful selection of different flavored cupcakes. Joe Kline was the talented photographer that captured the story of the day, including memorable candid wedding photos!

It takes the right event planning team inspired by a special couple to plan a creative wedding in Bend Oregon.
